INTRODUCTION

Gin Rummy is a game that requires skill and strategic thinking. It is played with a deck of cards and the objective is to arrange your hand into sets and runs while minimizing the number of cards that don't fit into any of these groups. The game is usually played until a player reaches 100 points.


HOW TO PLAY

  1. Objective: The goal is to minimize the number of cards that don't fit into any sets or runs.
  • Sets: These are groups of cards with the same rank, such as three 7s.
  • Runs: Runs are sequences of cards in the same suit, for example, 4, 5, and 6 of Hearts.
  1. Scoring:
  • You earn points equal to the value of the opponent's remaining cards that don't fit into any sets or runs.
  • If you manage to get rid of all your cards without any remaining deadwood, you can "knock" or "go gin" and score additional points.
  1. Winning:
  • The first player to reach or exceed 100 points wins the game.
  • Make sure to prevent your opponent from reaching 100 points before you do!
